Homemakers is looking for someone that likes to be active, work hard, and to be efficient in our furniture prep department.

We are looking for strong team player since each person on the team affects the overall goal.

Must be able to use power tools and to be a good problem solver.

Heavy lifting is a daily task in this active role!

Furniture Prep $19 per hour - day shift

PAY: $19 per hour

Monday-Friday 6am- until work is done (3-5pm)

ONLY EXPERIENCE CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED. MUST HAVE LONG WORK HISTORY AND ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE.

Job Description:

In this warehouse role, you will work on a team that is responsible for unpacking, and assembling furniture for delivery to our customers. In addition, you will perform a thorough quality control inspection of each piece that you assemble to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Unpack, inspect, and assemble furniture products accurately, and efficiently.
• Heavy lifting is a constant so previous experience is preferred.
• Maintain careful attention to product quality.
• Use of hand tools and power tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years warehouse experience is preferred
• Great attention to detail
• Prior experience working with tools.
• Ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Track record of longevity with previous employers

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand and walk frequently.
• Ability to carry objects up to 75-100lbs. or more with assistance.
• Ability to push/pull/maneuver products/equipment/ material up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to use hand and power tools along with frequent hand movement, simple grasping, firm grasping, and fine manipulating.
