Job Description

General Summary

The Store Supervisor assists and performs customer service, merchandising, omni activities, and all inventory related actions to drive sales and results, demonstrating behaviors aligned with company values. They partner with the management team to understand store priorities and are involved in merchandise placement, fulfillment, and store recovery, while monitoring compliance with company policies and Asset Protection standards.

Reports to: Store Manager and/or Co-Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Maintain in-store experience by modeling CEL behaviors, redirecting associates, and responding to customer requests with urgency.
  • Ensure positive customer experiences by maintaining store standards and completing daily open/close tasks.
  • Meet metric goals by reviewing, understanding, and communicating goals; clearly communicate business trends to SM/ML.
  • Plan and assign daily tasks from daily communication and follow through with required actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or other leader.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain sales floor and stockroom to ensure an appealing consumer experience.
  • Supervise and execute inventory management activities including freight receipt, placement, markdown, and MOOS.
  • Manage omni activities in-store, including Charge/Send, BOPIS/BOSTS, Delivery.
  • Leverage inventory reports for productivity and merchandise presentation.
  • Ensure safety and operational condition of all equipment and environment.
  • Maintain supply inventory for successful operations in key areas.
  • Complete audits, donations, transfers, mismates, damages, etc.

Human Resources

  • Collaborate with store leadership on policy and procedure compliance.
  • Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates.
  • Train, coach, and develop associates; provide feedback to management.
  • Manage payroll and timekeeping activities.
  • Recognize associates through company recognition tools.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years retail experience.
  • Some college preferred.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
