The Role in Brief:
Senior Consultant and Principal, Enrollment Marketing Services
In this key position, you will collaborate with our internal client development, account management, and corporate marketing teams. Your role will involve providing thought leadership and guidance to help our current and prospective higher education clients achieve their undergraduate enrollment goals through customized, data-driven solutions. This highly visible role is essential for promoting our value to clients, increasing overall revenue and profitability, and advocating for future innovations in products and services.
This position can be based in Richmond, VA, or Washington, D.C., and is also open to remote employment within the continental United States.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaboration with New Client Development: Work closely with the client development team to articulate the value of our services from a practitioner's perspective. You will strategize with the team on the most suitable suite of services to address prospective clients' undergraduate enrollment needs.
Client Strategy & Support: Partner with client services and success teams to ensure clients meet their undergraduate enrollment goals. Participate in weekly calls, provide ad hoc enrollment consulting, support in-person meetings, and develop targeted strategies for client retention and growth.
Corporate Marketing Support: Assist the corporate marketing team in creating and delivering thought leadership presentations through webinars, podcasts, and conference appearances.
Strategic Enrollment Management Consulting: Participate in consulting contracts as needed, which may involve assessments, data analysis, creating strategic enrollment management plans, and delivering recommendations both in writing and in-person.
Travel Expectations:
This role requires approximately 60% travel.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
6+ years of experience in a senior admissions or enrollment leadership position
10-12+ years of relevant full-time professional experience
Experience in marketing to and recruiting undergraduate and transfer students across various academic programs and modalities (e.g., in-person, online)
Strong familiarity with direct and digital marketing channels, strategies, and emerging trends
Proven success in developing strategic initiatives and achieving enrollment goals
Highly developed written, oral, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
Ideal Qualifications:
Advanced degree
Direct experience working with our services to drive enrollment success
Significant experience presenting at national and regional professional conferences

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $190,000 per year. Actual salaries may vary based on relevant experience, skills, and location. It's not typical for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This position also includes eligibility for discretionary bonuses or incentive compensation, which may depend on individual and organizational performance.
