I am partnering with an innovative biopharmaceutical manufacturing business based near Wilmington, NC who are looking to hire a key senior position within their process / chemical engineering function.

The role is for a Senior Chemical Engineer to serve as the technical resource for the US manufacturing site. This opportunity involves providing strong engineering knowledge and troubleshooting support, overseeing all engineering functions, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Given the size of the business, this is an outstanding opportunity to have real influence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced manager to take on a new challenge, or someone looking to step into a managerial role bringing a track record of chemical engineering expertise.

Experience

• Engineering Expertise : Minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering or a related field, with a strong background in manufacturing environments.
• Regulatory Knowledge : In-depth understanding of safety regulations and GMP guidelines.
• Leadership Skills : Ideally some people management experience - although this can be developed for the right person
• Analytical Abilities : Strong skills in economic analysis, budget management, and process optimization.
• Collaborative Approach : Demonstrated ability to work effectively across departments and with external stakeholders to achieve business goals.
