Phlebotomists/Medical Assistants for Mobile Exam Services As an Independent Contractor

READING, PA (BERKS COUNTY) - Contract

We are looking for Self Motivated, Reliable & Well organized Mobile Phlebotomist/Medical Assistants for Insurance exams and blood draws. Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS.
You can make your own hours in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, and choose which days you are available for work. You can set your own schedule in the portal and receive cases that are in your area of coverage. It is highly flexible, has good pay, and is paid twice a month for completed services. Training is provided, but must have your own equipment such as BP cuff Reg. & Large, Scale that goes up to 360 lbs., metal and cloth tape measure, clipboard, and centrifuge will be provided if you don't have one as well as an EKG machine if it is warranted
Pay for completed services/cases ranges from $24.00 to $45.00 depending on the service for that case.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect blood & urine samples for insurance clients, specialty draws, and label all specimens accurately, and centrifuge blood
• Obtain manual physical measurements and document health histories
• All specimens are shipped via FedEx from your residence or authorized fedex stores
• call clients to schedule and confirm their insurance exams, as well as specialty blood, draws on a daily basis.
• You must have a printer/scanner to print off paperwork, use your computer to put all status notes and scheduled appts. into our portal Can also access ExamOne's portal from your cell phone.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must pass a urine drug screen & background check
• Proven experience as a phlebotomist/medical assistant
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance, be able to travel within a 20-mile radius of your home but will reimburse mileage up and over 30 miles in one trip at .65¢ a mile.
