Reports To: Vice President of Advancement
Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000
Start Date: January 2025
Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

About Us:

We are a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering student parents and their children. Our work focuses on ensuring that these families have the resources and support they need to succeed in their educational journeys, creating a pathway to economic mobility. We work alongside education and policy partners to drive systemic change, offering holistic, two-generation programming that impacts both teen parents in college and their children.

Since our inception, we have provided over $1.3 million in tuition assistance, supported nearly 500 teen parents, and helped nearly 200 students earn degrees. Our reach extends to over 30 two- and four-year institutions nationwide. We're proud to be recognized as a top nonprofit, a testament to our values-driven culture and the incredible people that make up our team.

If you're passionate about family, education, and making a tangible difference, we invite you to join us in this important work.

Position Overview:

As the Director of National Development, you will lead fundraising efforts as we expand our national reach. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop a strategic plan to identify and secure funding from national foundations, corporations, and individual donors. This includes securing commitments for general operations, policy initiatives, and systems-change work that support our growing $10 million budget.

You will also oversee a dynamic team of development professionals, guiding them toward achieving both departmental and organizational fundraising goals. Your work will span a range of fundraising activities, including grant writing, partnerships, major gifts, and event management. Your contributions will help us reach an ambitious goal of raising $16 million by 2029.

This is an ideal role for someone who is a strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and experienced in relationship-building. If you are passionate about family support, education, and fundraising, we would love to hear from you.

Goal 3: Developing Our Team

Build strong, supportive relationships with your team, offering coaching and career development to help them thrive.
Lead regular one-on-one coaching sessions and team meetings focused on outcomes and professional growth.
