Job Description

Daylight Donuts At The Ridge in Pea Ridge, AR is looking for a baker to join our team. We are located on 1020 Slack St. As an overnight baker, you will play a key role in preparing fresh, delicious donuts and other baked goods for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and measure ingredients
• Mix and blend batters
• Roll, knead, cut, and shape dough to form donuts and pastries.
• Set oven and fryer temperatures and monitor or modify as needed
• Ice, glaze, and decorate baked goods
• Prepare and maintain a daily inventory
• Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment

Pay Structure:

• Compensation is based on a graduated scale, increasing with tenure and performance milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake donuts and other pastries according to shop recipes and standards.
• Decorate donuts with icing, glazes, and toppings to create visually appealing treats.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and smooth operations during the shift.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience making donuts is required – we provide training!
• Capable of working independently
• A good communicator
• Preferred: Experience with decorating baked goods, including icing techniques and artistic design.
• Ability to work overnight hours (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) reliably and consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistently high-quality products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a warm, kitchen environment.
