Overview: The Automotive Detail Technician at Ilderton Dodge Chrysler Jeep plays a critical role in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of vehicles within the dealership or service center. They are responsible for ensuring that vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and detailed both inside and out to meet customer expectations and dealership standards. The successful candidate for this role will enjoy a competitive base salary plus commission, plus excellent benefits, including health, dental and vision plans, 401K, life insurance and paid time off. Responsibilities:

• Wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors to restore and maintain their appearance.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and steam clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, and surfaces.
• Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Clean and dress tires and wheels to enhance their appearance.
• Apply protective coatings and treatments as needed to preserve vehicle surfaces.
• Inspect vehicles for exterior damage and imperfections.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines when using chemicals, equipment, and tools.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of detailing techniques, products, and equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work meticulously to achieve high-quality results.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
